Here you can find everyone who lends a hand at making Rock N Refuge what it is.

Catie and David Haensler

We manage our family's farm, Rock 'N Refuge, with our two children, and our dog LeeLoo. David is a renovator and the interior designer/contractor of all our buildings. Catie is a former caterer and now manages the rentals.

Catie is a Certified Integrative Nutritional Health Coach. She works with individual clients and hosts retreats @ RNR.

David is working on his Master in Marriage and Family Therapy. He too will be accepting personal clients and hosting retreats @ RNR.

Owner/Operators

Harry and Mary Beth Shields

Harry and Mary Beth are the original owners and funded the build out of what RNR is today.

Harry can be found enjoying a walk with our dog LeeLoo, feeding his “puppies” (the highland cows) and on occasion watching the sunset over the pond with a cigar in hand.

Mom… horses. Only horses!! But seriously, MB can be found up at the barn enjoying her “beloved’s’ any time she can.

Marcia Caggianeiello

Marica is the amazing human that handles the day-to-day cleanings of the rentals and helps manage the guest experience. She can be found on the property caring for the barn cats and at the rental headquarters folding laundry or cleaning buildings. She lives nearby with her cats, dog, Layla, and her chickens.

Farm Manager

Derrick Drew

Derrick is the very talented man that handles the day-to-day care of the horses, cows and manages the groundskeeping and hay production. He can be found on the lawnmower or tractor, or fixing some bewildering farm equipment. We’re blessed to have him and all his skills!
